Problem
On a job with several design firms, the architectural set and the structural set drift apart. A beam moves on one sheet and never updates on the other; a dimension changes in revision 4 but the older callout survives. Those mismatches don’t surface in the trailer — they surface in the field, after the wall is framed and the cost to fix is real. The work of catching them is manual page-by-page comparison, and nobody has time to do it across a full set on every revision.
Build
TrueStruct runs four reconciliation engines over uploaded sets and produces a triaged conflict checklist: version drift, dimension mismatches, and missing structural members, each with auto-drafted RFIs. Every finding carries source references and a confidence score, and a human adjudicates rather than trusting the model blind. A walkable in-app 3D view rebuilds the structure from rooms and openings and pins each conflict in space. The app is offline-first — it queues extraction requests on a weak site connection and flushes them on reconnect.
Outcome
Live in production at app.truestruct.com. The four engines, the walkable 3D view, multi-language RFIs, and per-seat billing all ship today. A contractor can load two sets, get a ranked list of conflicts with citations, walk the structure before a wall goes up, and send an RFI without retyping the finding. The mobile wrap puts the same review on a phone in the field, and the offline queue means a dead spot on a site doesn’t stop the work.
